Another post about.. a weekend out

Well, just to bore you about talking about pretty much the same things, friday I went to Barnsley with our Jonny to see a band called the Sunshine Underground with Frame. Started on the Magners (yet again) on my dinner hour at work (yet again) and never looked back.

So drinking again at Frames house and on to the gig - not liking Barnsley much for the Sunshine Underground made up for it. Saturday was the Harrisons night at Plug, met up with the boys and made our merry way down. The first support band sounded good, the second made us all laugh, especially when the lead singer came out with “This is a song about Telephone Masts“. Yes you heard it telephone masts. I’m not even gonna get into that.

Either ways, my sisters and bro-in-laws were out and I decided to meet them, in the worst club ever. You can work it out. Its a good job I can amuse myself in poor situations.

Sunday I met up with Sean and Brigsy to watch the Manchester United and Chelsea match, and to watch Sean drink about 7 pints of Stella and talk boll*cks. Either ways I stayed out with someone and didn’t get any sleep until about 3 - and up for work at 7 ish was a barrell of laughs!

Last night me and my sister went to look at a house but to share for a while but have decided to wait until after Christmas. Which is probably a good idea as all my money will be on nights out this december. I can sense the Christmas debt already.

Loving after work beers

So, yet again, a Magners went down at lunch time at work, and dang I keep getting the taste for it. So after work, Me, Ken, Sean and Ian went to the Cutlers for supposedly 2-4-1. But it weren’t and we lost at pool. Were supposed to be meeting my old friend Craig in Chapeltown but he bailed, so I went up anyway to meet Daz for a couple, then back into town. So basically I went into town, to go to the otherside of Sheffield to come back.

Was a good laugh tho, beers were sinking and mouths were laughing - just how I like it. Sean was hyperactivley pissed which provided some entertainment. Went to a string of bars and I’m not telling you were we ended up - it was like Iraq at night. Vowed to stay clear!

Popeyes was there to liven up the night, chips, peas, fish cake, 2 peices of chicken.. And a long nights sleep. Tonight I’m going to see ‘The Departed’ at the Odeon, looks good and looking forward to it. Especially the chocolate mud ice cream. And beers.

The end of the weekend..

Again, the weekend finished quicker than it started, but it was a great one. Friday saw a few drinks being tippled with my sisters and bro-in-law in Chapeltown, was a good laugh. Its like the Comedy Club with them two. Not a bad hangover.

Saturday, the destination was Meadow Farm in Ecclesfield where I met up with Craig (an old friend). Met up with some old friends from School, some little stories to tell! Went over to the Travellers, was very quiet probably due to Bonfire Night but was a good either way, Carlings and the Magners kept flowing. Hangover is at 50%.

Sunday night I went to RSVP for a meal, then met up with Daz and Claire at the Fat Cat for drinks (course) and to see the Bonfire and Fireworks. Definately not impressed with the Fireworks we decided to go to Walkabout for the Bandeoke (or whatever), can tell Daz wanted to kick out some jams so we got him up - unfortunately for him our Daz got up to butcher his attempts at a good song!

By this time drunkeness kicked in so we made our merry way to Flares for extras. Work in the morning but hey, its all good. Woke up in the morning - hangover 100%.

Oh happy days!

Week of football

After a night of football on Monday at Concorde, Pitz on Wednesday and Hillsborough Leisure Centre last night I am now prepared for a good night out with Paula and Sally for Paula’s Birthday.

I had a cool Magners this afternoon in the Ship Inn (works local) and I think I may just have another.

Chapeltown is tonights destination, been a while since I had a night out there, so we’ll see the outcome - hazy memories probably. Thats not always a bad thing. Im sure pictures will prob up.
